Founded in 2024, Empowering Afghan Girls and Young Women Through Debate is the first and largest debate program recognized by the Harvard Debate Council and University of Kentucky’s Tournament of Champions (TOC) that empowers Afghan female students to raise their voices on the global stage by providing opportunities to compete in prestigious international debate tournaments.
This visibility can help attract worldwide support for their education, with an immediate focus on expanding access to online learning.
