Successful Nomination: Student Ambassador Representing the Afghan Female Debate Team at ISDI (Harvard Debate – UK TOC) 2026–2027

Hello everyone,

We are pleased to announce the successful nomination of Helala Ghanizada, representing the Afghan Female Debate Team, as a Student Ambassador for the ISDI (Harvard Debate – UK-TOC) Global Debate Project.

She is currently a 12th-grade student of the K12 Online Schools and a member of the Afghan Female Student Debate Team (2026–2027).

This ambassador role offers a valuable opportunity to amplify visibility for Afghan girls and young women through international engagement, including participation in Harvard Debate – UK TOC’s global monthly debate meetings and their worldwide debate network. We believe that, when given the chance, they can stand alonsgside peers from around the world and bring pride to Afghanistan.

Congratulations to Helala. We wish you continued success in this new role.

We would also like to express our gratitude to the Harvard Debate Council and the University of Kentucky’s Tournament of Champions for their kind support.

In addition, thank you Tamana Wahidi for serving as our 2026 Student Ambassador.

Warm regards,
