AFGHAN FEMALE STUDENT DEBATE TOURNAMENT 2027 (Jan 30–31)

Hello everyone,

The Afghan Female Student Debate Tournament 2027 will be held online via the National Speech & Debate Association (NSDA) Tabroom, a widely recognized platform for speech and debate, on January 30–31, 2027.

There is no cost for participants as we want to provide this opportunity to as many Afghan girls as possible. The tournament page is available here: https://lnkd.in/gmhKj6R2

We are pleased to invite Afghan middle school, high school, and university students worldwide to participate. Registration will open on November 16, 2026 and will close on December 31, 2026. Please refer to the tournament link above and our LinkedIn page for updates.

We are also coordinating with our coaches from Vietnam Public Forum Academy and Keerti V. Joshi from Team Canada Debate 2025 – 2027 to deliver debate training to Afghan female students who plan to participate in our tournament, starting October 3: https://lnkd.in/gBPC3PFr

About Team Canada Debate:

– 5x World Champions of the WSDC; most recent win: 2026 in Kenya

– 4x World Runners-up

Interested students are kindly requested to fill out this form to enroll in the training before registering for the tournament: https://forms.gle/6nJC9T1KeEsDPDMt5

In addition, we are providing training for members of the Afghan Female Student Debate Team who will compete in the upcoming Harvard Debate UK–TOC International Tournaments, scheduled for October 23–25, 2026, November 2026, and January 2027. This program is made possible through the kind support of the International Speech and Debate Initiative (ISDI), a joint effort by the Harvard Debate Council and the University of Kentucky’s Tournament of Champions, which has agreed to waive all participation fees.
